In partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, SNCF TER and the Organising Committee, a simple, practical and eco-friendly solution is available to take you directly to the gates of the biathlon stadium:
Arrival at stations by train or bus is strongly recommended (no special parking facilities).
Arrival in Le Grand-Bornand: stop at the bus station entrance (on the cemetery car park side), Route du Borne.
Departure from Le Grand-Bornand: Route des Pochons.
Free shuttle buses are available upon reservation for anyone with a ticket to the World Cup for the day in question. Tickets must be presented upon boarding.
Reservation required with credit card details: a deposit of €8 per journey per person will be requested at the time of booking and will only be debited in the event of a no-show. Free cancellation possible up to 48 hours in advance.
Are you planning to come for the day but over several days, or to stay for a longer period? You will need to book a separate ticket for each day.
The shuttle buses do not make any stops along the route.
Shuttle timetable:
Please note that the service will be suspended 1.5 hours before the first competition of the day and will resume at the end of the races.
Due to high demand, we strongly recommend that you plan your journey well in advance and arrive at the park-and-ride car parks at least 2 hours before the start of the first competition of the day.

Book your train (additional charge), then take advantage of the free direct shuttle buses* available upon arrival at the station to reach Le Grand-Bornand (lines Y62-Y63 from Annecy, special coaches from La Roche-sur-Foron and St Pierre en Faucigny). Advance booking required.
* See information on special shuttle buses from the above stations.
As traffic is very heavy at the end of the events, particularly on Sundays, we strongly recommend that you allow plenty of time for your return journey to the station.
Come by train to the Biathlon World Cup from 15 to 21 December 2025!
Free shuttles, coordinated with TER and Léman Express trains, will take you to Le Grand-Bornand without a car.
From 18 to 21 December, special free shuttles, available upon reservation, will depart from Annecy, La Roche-sur-Foron and Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny.
They are available to anyone with a ticket for the event.

Use Togetzer to carpool for your journeys and join the dedicated event by finding a route or posting your own to get to the Thônes (if you’re taking the A41) and Glières Val-de-Borne / Entremont (if you’re taking the A40) park-and-ride sites, then travel to Le Grand-Bornand on special free shuttle buses (see information on ‘Special shuttle buses’ above).
Useful tips
If you are staying in the resort, we recommend parking in the car park of your chalet or residence and not using your vehicle during the four days of competition. Depending on your accommodation, you can access the stadium on foot or by ski bus (see section ‘Ski bus in the resort’).

If you are staying in La Clusaz or Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and want to visit Le Grand-Bornand, leave your car at your accommodation (parking is paid or limited in time in town centres) and use the free buses running from Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 December 2025.
Departure from La Clusaz bus station and St-Jean de Sixt Centre/Boulangerie stop:
If you are staying in Le Grand-Bornand, use the free buses to get around.
Timetables are indicated at the departure point in Le Grand-Bornand Village.
