Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is a great region for sport. Every year, we do our utmost to host more than 500 top-class sporting competitions in the best possible conditions.
The Biathlon World Cup, an international event for professional biathletes, is a perfect example of this. We are proud to see that our region has become a key venue for the organisation of such prestigious events, thanks in no small part to the marvellous work carried out by our volunteers.
In Grand-Bornand, which will also be the staging ground for the 2030 Olympic Games, the Biathlon World Cup is all about surpassing oneself and courage, values that we in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will always uphold.
During the event, the Region will be present in a concrete and active way to support the organiser and welcome the public.
Everyone will be able to visit the Region’s stand in the exhibitors’ village. You’ll be able to discover the “Ma Région, ses terroirs” brand. This brand is a guarantee of the regional origin of what you buy: produce from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, grown, reared and processed by regional players, in compliance with good farming practices.
To mark the occasion, we’ll be offering tastings of the brand’s products.
