The Organising Committee, its more than 1,000 volunteers (a record!) and all the local residents are ready to welcome the only French leg of the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup. With six successful editions since 2013, the village in the Haute-Savoie region has established itself as an essential stop on the international circuit.
On the eve of the competition, all the teams, services and service providers are joining forces with remarkable energy to ensure the smooth running of this international competition, once again demonstrating the resort’s high standards in organising high-level cultural and sporting events.
It is with enthusiasm and impatience that Le Grand-Bornand will welcome some 60,000 spectators, including more than 3,500 schoolchildren, to the Sylvie Becaert stadium, where 300 athletes, including the members of the French team, who are in great shape at the start of the season, will perform.
As such, during the previous edition in December 2024, the French stage was the one that delivered the highest number of tickets on the circuit, ahead of the ‘historic’ Germany and Italy…
